the RGC is working towards basic education for everybody at primary schools by the year 2015, providing qualified teachers at all educational levels, taking care of and upholding the living standard of teachers especially those living in remote areas and provinces, and giving encouragement awards based on their capability and working performance.

In this context, the RGC has developed legal provisions for preventing the discrimination against women as stipulated in the Penal Code.

In addition to the legal measures, the RGC has introduced other necessary measures in order to promote women's growth and development.

the RGC has organized previous open meetings to disseminate information on the result of UPR in many parts of Cambodia along with participation of all relevant ministries/institutions, civil society including NGOs and other stakeholders.
وقد نظمت حكومة مملكة كمبوديا في السابق جلسات مفتوحة في أجزاء كثيرة من البلد بغرض نشر المعلومات عن نتيجة الاستعراض الدوري الشامل، وشاركت فيها جميع الوزارات والمؤسسات المختصة وتنظيمات المجتمع المدني، بما في ذلك المنظمات غير الحكومية وغيرها من الجهات المعنية الأخرى.

32. the RGC attaches high importance to the freedom of expression, freedom of the press and freedom of publication that have been guaranteed respectively in the Article 31 and 41 of the Constitution.
