Having regard to efforts to develop and modernize the Secretariat-General of the League of Arab States,

2. To continue the efforts between the Secretariat-General of the League of Arab States and the African Union Commission to convene the 2nd Afro-Arab Summit Conference at the earliest possible opportunity and to remove the obstacles to fostering Afro-Arab cooperation;
مواصلة الجهود بين الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية ومفوضية الاتحاد الافريقي لعقد القمة لعربية الافريقية الثانية في اقرب وقت ممكن، وإزالة العوائق التي تعترض سبل تفعيل التعاون العربي الافريقي.

To call upon States to undertake to pay their shares of the budget of the Secretariat-General of the League of Arab States in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations;

4. The requirement for member States to pay their contributions to the general reserve of the Secretariat-General with effect from the 2006 budget, in accordance with articles 23 and 24 of the financial system of the Secretariat-General of the League of Arab States;
4 - سداد الدول الأعضاء لمساهماتها في الاحتياطي العام للأمانة العامة اعتبارا من موازنة 2006 وفقا لنص المادتين 23، 24 من النظام المالي للأمانة العامة بجامعة الدول العربية.

To welcome the steady improvement in the security and humanitarian situation in most parts of Darfur and to appreciate the timely efforts in this regard of the Sudanese government, in collaboration with the Arab States, the Secretariat-General of the League of Arab States and international and regional bodies;
4 - الترحيب بالتحسن المضطرد الذي تشهده الأوضاع الأمنية والإنسانية في مجمل أنحاء دارفور، وتقدير الجهود الحثيثة المبذولة في هذا الصدد من الحكومة السودانية، بالتعاون مع الدول العربية والأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية والهيئات الدولية والإقليمية؛

IV. To charge the Secretariat-General of the League of Arab States with notifying the summit on a regular basis of developments concerning follow-up to implementation of this resolution.
رابعا - تكليف الأمانة العامة للجامعة بإحاطة القمة دوريا بالمستجدات بشأن متابعة تنفيذ هذا القرار.
