In this respect, the Committee welcomed the steps taken by the Secretary-General in support of the peace process, particularly through the appointment of the Special Coordinator to act as a focal point for all United Nations economic, social and other assistance to the Palestinians.

" ٥ - يدعو جميع منظمات اﻷمم المتحدة إلى دمج نتائج المؤتمرات الدولية الرئيسية في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين المتصلة بهما ذات الصلة في برامج عملها والاسهام بمعلومات وتحليلات وتقييمات ذات صلة في التقرير الموحد الذي سيقدمه اﻷمين العام لدعم الاستعراضات الموضوعية التي سيجريها المجلس؛
