43. States decided that the open-ended meeting of governmental experts in 2015 will consider the follow-up to the report of the Secretary-General on recent developments in small arms and light weapons, including the transfer of small arms-related technology and equipment, and sustainable, adequate and effective capacity-building and training.
43 - وقررت الدول أن ينظر اجتماع الخبراء الحكوميين المفتوح العضوية في عام 2015 في متابعة تقرير الأمين العام عن التطورات الأخيرة في الأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة(4)، بما في ذلك نقل التكنولوجيا والمعدات المتصلة بالأسلحة الصغيرة، وتوفير التدريب وبناء القدرات بصورة مستدامة وكافية وفعالة.

Mr. Khalidi (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)) introduced the report of the Secretary-General on recent developments in external debt (A/62/151), which presented a comprehensive analysis of the principal issues and developments relating to external debt, in particular those faced by developing countries.

As highlighted by the World Summit Outcome and the report of the Secretary-General on recent developments in external debt (A/62/151), debt sustainability is essential for growth and to free resources for the achievement of national development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals.
وكما أبرزت الوثيقة الختامية لمؤتمر القمة العالمي وتقرير الأمين العام عن التطورات الأخيرة في مجال الديون الخارجية (A/62/151)، فإن القدرة على تحمّل الدين أساسية للنمو ولتحرير الموارد لتحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية الوطنية بما فيها الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية.

5. Ms. Tran-Nguyen (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on recent developments in external debt (A/61/152), said that there had been a noticeable improvement in the external debt situation of the developing countries over the last three years.
