It supports the work of the Special Representative of the SecretaryGeneral on Sexual Violence in Conflict, and encourages her to regularly interact with the Sexual Violence Unit of the Mission to coordinate United Nations response and monitor the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
ويؤيد العمل الذي تضطلع به الممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام المعنية بالعنف الجنسي في حالات النـزاع، ويشجعها على الاتصال بشكل منتظم بوحدة مكافحة العنف الجنسي التابعة للبعثة لتنسيق إجراءات الأمم المتحدة في هذا المجال ورصد تنفيذ الاستراتيجية الشاملة لمكافحة العنف الجنسي في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية.

In this regard, it reiterates its support for the mandates of the Special Representative of the SecretaryGeneral on Sexual Violence in Conflict and the Special Representative of the SecretaryGeneral for Children and Armed Conflict and encourages them to continue to ensure full transparency, cooperation and coordination of their efforts.

17. Invites the Special Representative of the SecretaryGeneral on Sexual Violence in Conflict to continue to provide briefings on sexual violence, in accordance with resolution 1888 (2009);

1. The methodology of work adopted by the Special Representative of the SecretaryGeneral on human rights defenders for implementation of the mandate entrusted to her has helped to establish a mechanism to collect and report information on the situation of defenders.
