2. Calls upon the administering Power, the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system as well as regional and other organizations to continue to provide urgent emergency assistance to the Territory in alleviating the consequences of the volcanic eruption;

وإذ تعرب عن تقديرها لﻷمانة العامة لمنظمة الوحدة الافريقية لاستمرارها في مد يد التعاون والمساعدة للوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات اﻷخرى في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في هذا الصدد،

Reaffirming the mandates of the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system to take all the appropriate measures, within their respective spheres of competence, to ensure the full implementation of General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) and other relevant resolutions,
وإذ تؤكد من جديد مسؤولية الوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات اﻷخرى في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة عن اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة، كل في نطاق اختصاصها، لتأمين التنفيذ التام لقرار الجمعية العامة ١٥١٤ )د - ١٥( والقرارات اﻷخرى ذات الصلة،

14. Requests the administering Powers concerned to facilitate the participation of appointed and elected representatives of Non-Self-Governing Territories in the relevant meetings and conferences of the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system so that the Territories may benefit from the related activities of those agencies and organizations;
١٤ - تطلب إلى الدول المعنية القائمة بإدارة اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي تيسير مشاركة الممثلين المعينين والمنتخبين لهذه اﻷقاليم في الاجتماعات والمؤتمرات ذات الصلة التي تعقدها الوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات اﻷخرى في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، بحيث يتسنى لهذه اﻷقاليم أن تستفيد من اﻷنشطة ذات الصلة التي تضطلع بها تلك الوكالات والمؤسسات؛

The draft resolution also requests the Secretary-General, the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system to provide economic, social and other assistance to the Non-Self-Governing Territories.
كذلك يطلب مشروع القرار إلى اﻷمين العام والوكالات المتخصصة وسائر مؤسسات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة تقديم المساعدات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وغيرها من المساعدات إلى اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي.
