79. Article 6 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child acknowledges that every child has an inherent right to life and that States parties shall ensure, to the maximum extent possible, the survival and development of the child.
79- وتقر المادة 6 من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل بأن لكل طفل حقاً متأصلاً في الحياة وأن على الدول الأطراف أن تضمن، إلى أقصى حد ممكن، بقاء الطفل ونماءه.

194. Articles 6 and 24 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child relate to the survival and development of the child and to the provision of primary health care, one component of which is nutrition.
195- لقد جاء في المادتين (6 و24) من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل حقوق تتعلق ببقاء الطفل ونمائه وتقديم الرعاية الصحية الأولية والتي من مكوناتها التغذية.

States Parties to the Covenant shall guarantee the basics necessary for the survival and development of the child and for his/her protection from violence, abuse, exploitation, and deterioration of his/her living and health conditions.
2 - تكفل الدول الأطراف مقومات بقاء الطفل ونمائه وحمايته من العنف وسوء المعاملة والاستغلال وتردي أحواله المعيشية والصحية.

d. The principle of the survival and development of the child
(د) مبدأ بقاء الطفل ونمائه

Its mandate is: " To put forward recommendations aimed at protecting children against all forms of ill treatment, violence, physical and/or mental harm or abuse, neglect and, in general, all practices harmful to the survival and development of the child " .
وتتمثل ولايتها فيما يلي: " التقدم بتوصيات تهدف إلى حماية الأطفال من كل أشكال سوء المعاملة، والعنف، والأذى أو الاعتداء الجسدي و/أو النفسي، والإهمال، وبصورة عامة كل الممارسات الضارة ببقاء الطفل ونمائه " (229).
