35. The theme " Energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective " was considered by the Commission, pursuant to paragraph 98 of the Accra Accord.

The first session of the Trade and Development Commission discussed energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective, based on a report by the secretariat (TD/B/C.I/2).
ناقشت الدورة الأولى للجنة التجارة والتنمية القضايا المتصلة بالطاقة من منظور التجارة والتنمية على أساس تقرير الأمانة (TD/B/C.I/2).

7. In response to the energy crisis, the report " Energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective " (TD/B/C.I/2) was submitted for consideration by the first session of the Trade and Development Commission (11 - 15 May 2009).
7- واستجابة لأزمة الطاقة، قُدِّم التقرير المعنون " القضايا المتصلة بالطاقة من منظور التجارة والتنمية " (TD/B/CI/2) كي تنظر فيه الدورة الأولى للجنة التجارة والتنمية (11-15 أيار/مايو 2009).

It also contributed to the preparation of the secretariat's report on Energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective (TD/B/C.I/2) for consideration at the first session of the Trade and Development Commission.
وساهمت الفرقة أيضاً في إعداد تقرير الأمانة عن القضايا المتصلة بالطاقة من منظور التجارة والتنمية (TD/B/C.I/2)، لكي تنظر فيه لجنة التجارة والتنمية في دورتها الأولى.

The report " Energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective " prepared by the UNCTAD secretariat (TD/B/C.I/2) provided the analysis for the deliberations.
وقدم تقرير أمانة الأونكتاد المتعلق بموضوع " القضايا المتصلة بالطاقة من منظور التجارة والتنمية " (TD/B/C.I/2) تحليلاً للمداولات.

51. The newly established Trade and Development Commission and the Investment, Enterprise and Development Commission have each convened annual sessions since Accra, and have considered topics including " Energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective " and " Creating an environment conducive to productive capacity-building " .
51- وقامت اللجنتان المنشأتان حديثاً وهما لجنة التجارة والتنمية ولجنة الاستثمار والمشاريع والتنمية بعقد دورات سنوية لكل منهما منذ مؤتمر أكرا. ونظرتا في مواضيع من بينها " القضايا المتصلة بالطاقة من منظور التجارة والتنمية " و " تهيئة بيئة تفضي إلى بناء القدرات الإنتاجية " .

The proposed theme of " Energy-related issues from the trade and development perspective " , pursuant to paragraph 98 of Accra Accord, would address the implications on trade and development prospects of developing countries of the emerging global energy economy with a view to making energy accessible to populations and industry, affordable for all and especially the poor, and available for promoting development locally and globally.
