32. The Committee recommends that the State party continue and strengthen efforts to implement article article 12 of the Convention and promote respect for the views of the child in all settings, including by:

It recommended that Palau encourage respect for the views of the child in the family, communities, schools, and administrative and judicial systems.
وأوصت اللجنة بالاو بتشجيع احترام آراء الطفل في محيط الأسرة وفي المجتمعات المحلية والمدارس والنظم الإدارية والقضائية(55)

(b) Systematically consider the views of the child in formulating laws and policies.

104. The Committee notes the efforts of the State party to encourage respect for the views of the child in court and administrative proceedings as well as within the school environment through, inter alia, the establishment of school councils where students are represented and allowed to promote the views of their peers.
104- تلاحظ اللجنة الجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف لتشجيع احترام آراء الطفل في المحاكم والإجراءات الإدارية وكذلك في المحيط المدرسي عن طريق جملة أمور منها إنشاء مجالس مدرسية يمثل فيها التلاميذ ويسمح لهم بإبداء آراء أندادهم.

The Committee recommends that the requested review of existing legislation consider the need for application of this principle, and in any case to children younger than 16, and in particular to make it a requirement for courts and other institutions to seek and give due weight to the views of the child in all matters affecting the child, in accordance with article 12 of the Convention.
وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف عند قيامها باستعراض التشريعات القائمة المطلوب منها، أن تأخذ في الحسبان الحاجة إلى تنفيذ هذا المبدأ، وذلك في جميع الأحوال بالنسبة للأطفال دون سن 16 عاماً وبالخصوص أن تجعله شرطاً يُلزم المحاكم وغيرها من المؤسسات بالعمل على التماس آراء الطفل في جميع المسائل المتعلقة به واعطائها الوزن الواجب، وذلك وفقاً لأحكام المادة 12 من الاتفاقية.

The Committee welcomes the introduction of the principle of respect of the views of the child in several laws such as the Children and Young Persons Act, the Adoption Act and the establishment of the Children's Parliament, but it remains concerned that, inter alia, traditional attitudes still limit the full implementation of article 12 of the Convention.

The Committee recommends that the State party develop a systematic approach to increasing public awareness of the participatory rights of children, particularly at the local level and in traditional communities, and encourage respect for the views of the child in families, schools, and the care and judicial systems.
385- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تعد نهجا منتظما بغية زيادة وعي الجماهير بحقوق الطفل التشاركية، لا سيما على الصعيد المحلي وفي المجتمعات التقليدية، وأن تشجع على احترام آراء الطفل في الأسرة وفي المدرسة وفي نظم الرعاية والنظم القضائية.

The Committee recommends that the State party continue and strengthen efforts to implement article 12 of the Convention and promote respect for the views of the child in all matters that concern them in the family, school, other children's institutions and the community, taking into account the recommendations adopted by the Committee following its day of general discussion held on 15 September 2006 on the Right of the child to be heard.
35- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تواصل وتعزز جهودها لتنفيذ المادة 12 من الاتفاقية وبأن تشجع احترام آراء الأطفال في جميع المسائل التي تتعلق بهم في الأسرة والمدرسة ومؤسسات الأطفال الأخرى والمجتمع، مراعية في ذلك التوصيات التي اعتمدتها اللجنة خلال يوم المناقشة العامة التي عقدت في 15 أيلول/سبتمبر 2006 بشأن حق الطفل في أن يُستمع إلى آرائه.
