8.4 With regard to the authors' complaint under article 5, paragraph 2, the Committee notes that the authors have not demonstrated that there was any restriction upon or derogation from the human rights recognized in the State party on the pretext that the Covenant does not recognize such rights or that it recognizes them to a lesser extent.
