60 - وإذا لم يوافق الطرفان على نهج لإيجاد حل سياسي وإذا لم يكن مجلس الأمن في وضع يُتيح له أن يطلب إليهما اتخاذ الخطوات التي لا يريناها في مصلحتهما بالرغم من حقيقة أنها قد تكون من الواضح في مصلحة سكان الصحراء الغربية فربما يود المجلس أن ينظر في مدى رغبته في أن يبقي هذه العملية السياسية قيد نظره النشط.
