16. The informal group of the " Friends of the Chair " , which was established pursuant to the recommendation of the Commission at its seventh session to assist the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee, held its first meeting in Rome from 17 to 18 July 1998.
16- وعقد فريق " أصدقاء الرئيس " غير الرسمي الذي أنشىء عملا بتوصية اللجنة في دورتها السابعة لمساعدة رئيس اللجنة المخصصة، اجتماعه الأول في روما يومي 17 و18 تموز/يوليه 1998.

24. The Ad Hoc Committee was of the view that the election of an expanded bureau would reduce the need for sessions of the informal working group established to assist the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee (the informal group of the Friends of the Chair), which had functioned during the preparatory phase.
24- ورأت اللجنة المخصصة أن انتخاب مكتب موسع سيقلل الحاجة الى عقد جلسات للفريق العامل غير الرسمي المنشأ لمساعدة رئيس اللجنة المخصصة (الفريق غير الرسمي لأصدقاء الرئيس)، الذي عمل طوال المرحلة التحضيرية.

8. The Conference agreed upon the following implementation mechanisms: (a) an Advisory Board to assist the Chairman of the Conference; (b) an annual high-level meeting of the Conference that will be convened at the same time as the General Assembly; and (c) a nucleus secretariat to assist the Chairman.
