The Board finalized its work on improving the Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality, in accordance with decision 7/CMP.1, paragraph 25 (b).

9- يذكِّر بأن استخدام " أداة إثبات وتقييم الإضافة " ، حسبما بَيَّنه المجلس التنفيذي، ليس إلزامياً للمشاركين في المشاريع؛

Step " 0 " of the " Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality for afforestation and reforestation CDM project activities " is deleted as the procedure in the CDM-AR-PDD addresses the same issue.
وتُحذف الخطوة " صفر " من " أداة إثبات الإضافة وتقييمها لأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار الآلية " لأن الإجراء الوارد في وثيقة تصميم المشروع يتصدى للمسألة نفسها.

The " Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality " was kept under review by the Board as requested by the COP at its tenth session.
45- وظلت " أداة إثبات وتقييم عامل الإضافة " () تخضع لاستعراض المجلس وفقاً لطلب مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته العاشرة.

The Board considered the submissions received and requested a series of expert analyses to establish ways to improve the " Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality " (additionality tool) and merge it with the draft baseline selection tool.

Encourages the Executive Board to keep under review the " Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality " , taking into consideration inputs from Parties, and to include its conclusions in its report to the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol at its first session;
10- يشجع المجلس التنفيذي على أن يبقي قيد الاستعراض " أداة إثبات وتقييم الإضافة " ، آخذاً في اعتباره المساهمات المقدمة من الأطراف، وعلى أن يدرج استنتاجاته في تقريره إلى مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو في دورته الأولى؛

With regard to the " Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality " , step 0, as stipulated in paragraph 1 of that step, shall be used only by project participants who wish to have the crediting period start prior to the date of registration.

(أ) شجّع المجلس التنفيذي على أن يبقي قيد الاستعراض " أداة إثبات وتقييم الإضافة " ، آخذاً في اعتباره المساهمات المقدمة من الأطراف، وعلى أن يُدرِج استنتاجاته في تقريره إلى مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو في دورته الأولى؛

As requested by the COP/MOP at its first session, the Board launched a call for inputs on new proposals to demonstrate additionality, including options to combine the selection of the baseline scenario and the demonstration of additionality and proposals to improve the " Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality " .
39- بناء على طلب مؤتمر الأطراف/اجتماع الأطراف في دورته الأولى، وجه المجلس نداءً لتقديم مساهماتٍ بشأن المقترحات الجديدة لإثبات الإضافية، بما في ذلك خيارات للجمع بين سيناريو خط الأساس وإثبات الإضافية، ومقترحات لتحسين " أداة إثبات وتقييم الإضافية " .
