69. In connection with article 4 of the Convention, it was recalled that each State party should ensure that all acts of torture are offences under its criminal law and clarification was requested on the extent to which Norway was complying with that requirement and how it dealt with the question of mental torture.
٦٩ - وفيما يتعلق بالمادة ٤ من الاتفاقية، أشير الى أنه ينبغي لكل دولة طرف أن تضمن كون جميع أفعال التعذيب جرائم بموجب قوانينها الجنائية، كما طلبت ايضاحات بشأن مدى تقيد النرويج بهذا الشرط وبشأن الكيفية التي تعالج بها مسألة التعذيب النفسي.

21. With regard to article 4 of the Convention, under the terms of paragraph 1 of which each State party undertakes to ensure that all acts of torture are offences under its criminal law, all such acts are, in fact, designated as criminal offences in the Islamic sharia and the Kingdom's regulations, as can be seen from:
