In a case where a competent authority involved in transboundary movements of e-waste considers a specific item to be hazardous waste according to its national law, while other authorities would not, the control procedure for hazardous waste would apply.
32 - وعندما تعتبر سلطة مختصة معنية بنقل النفايات الإلكترونية عبر الحدود أن صنفاً معيناً يعتبر من النفايات الخطرة طبقاً لقانونها الوطني، بينما لا تعتبرها على هذا النحو، ينبغي تطبيق إجراء التحكم بالنسبة للنفايات الخطرة.

The Secretariat will also provide information on the status of the development of draft technical guidelines on transboundary movements of e-waste, in particular regarding the distinction between waste and non-waste, its work on mercury wastes and the issues arising from the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the Stockholm Convention.
