1. Data and information of commercial value submitted or transferred to the Authority pursuant to these Regulations or a contract issued under these Regulations, and identified by the Contractor as such, shall be considered confidential unless it is data and information which:

Data and information submitted or transferred to the Authority or to any person participating in any activity or programme of the Authority pursuant to these Regulations or a contract issued under these Regulations, and designated by the contractor, in consultation with the Secretary-General, as being of a confidential nature, shall be considered confidential unless it is data and information which:

7. With regard to letters of credit issued by the bank for the purchase of humanitarian supplies for the south/centre of Iraq, since they are irrevocable and non-transferable they will continue to be handled by the United Nations beyond 21 November 2003 and will therefore not be transferred to the Authority.
7 - وفيما يتعلق بخطابات الاعتماد التي أصدرها المصرف لشراء لوازم إنسانية لجنوب/ وسط العراق، بما أنها غير قابلة للإلغاء والتحويل، ستظل الأمم المتحدة تتولى أمرها بعد 21 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2003 وبالتالي لن تنقل إلى السلطة.

In accordance with the provisions of article 163, paragraph 8, of the Convention, members of the Commission shall not disclose, even after the termination of their functions, any industrial secret, proprietary data which are transferred to the Authority in accordance with annex III, article 14, of the Convention, or any other confidential information coming to their knowledge by reason of their duties for the Authority.
ولا يفشي أعضاء اللجنة، وفقا لأحكام الفقرة 8 من المادة 163 من الاتفاقية أي أسرار صناعية أو معلومات متملكة أحيلت إلى السلطة وفقا للمادة 14 من المرفق الثالث للاتفاقية أو أي معلومات سرية أخرى علموا بها بحكم اضطلاعهم بواجباتهم مع السلطة، وذلك حتى بعد انتهاء مهامهم.

6. The Secretary-General and staff of the Authority shall not disclose, even after the termination of their functions with the Authority, any industrial secret, proprietary data which are transferred to the Authority in accordance with Annex III, article 14, of the Convention, or any other confidential information coming to their knowledge by reason of their employment with the Authority.
٦ - لا يفشي اﻷمين العام أو موظفو السلطة، حتى بعد انتهاء مهامهم مع السلطة، أي سر صناعي أو بيانات متعلقة بالملكية تكون قد أحيلت إلى السلطة وفقا للمادة ١٤ من المرفق الثالث للاتفاقية أو أي معلومات أخرى سرية نمت إلى علمهم بسبب عملهم مع السلطة.

Data and information transferred to the Authority in accordance with this contract shall be treated as confidential in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.
تعتبر البيانات والمعلومات التي تقدم إلى السلطة بموجب هذا العقد سرية وفقا لأحكام هذا البند والنظام.

Subject to my responsibilities to the Legal and Technical Commission, I shall not disclose, even after the termination of my functions, any industrial secret, proprietary data which are transferred to the Authority in accordance with the Convention and the Agreement, or any other confidential information coming to my knowledge by reason of my duties for the Authority.
ورهنا بمسؤولياتي تجاه اللجنة القانونية والتقنية، لن أفشي، حتى بعد انتهاء وظائفي، أية أسرار صناعية أو بيانات تكون محل ملكية نقلت إلى السلطة وفقا للاتفاقية والاتفاق، أو أية معلومات سرية أخرى تصل إلى علمي بحكم ما أؤديه من واجبات لحساب السلطة.
