During 2003 and 2004, the Third World Network (TWN) designed and implemented a project that assisted developing countries to improve their national policies and capacities to enable them to more effectively manage, participate in and contribute to the shaping of a more inclusive form of globalization.

12. With support from TCDC, the Third World Network (TWN) provided, for a broad constituency of both state and non-state actors in the South, sensitization and analytical materials on trade and trade-related issues and on the impact of globalization on the South.

In 1997, the Special Unit forged new partnerships with four leading institutions in the South, namely, the Third World Network of Scientific Organizations (TWNSO), the Third World Network (TWN), the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CCDA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
