It is also concerned at the information that victims of the practices covered by the Protocol, notably child prostitution, are sometimes charged with immoral behaviour and detained until their case is heard and that, after the trial, especially boy victims are often placed in child correctional centres.

40. The Committee urges the State party to adopt appropriate measures to protect the rights and interests of child victims of the practices prohibited under the Optional Protocol at all stages of the criminal justice process.
40- تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اعتماد التدابير الملائمة لحماية حقوق ومصالح الأطفال ضحايا الممارسات المحظورة بموجب البروتوكول الاختياري في كل مراحل إجراءات العدالة الجنائية.

(a) [States parties shall ensure that children who are victims of the practices condemned in the present protocol are not punished for these offences, [subject to the legal system of the State]].
(أ) [تكفل الدول الأطراف عدم معاقبة الأطفال ضحايا الممارسات المدانة في هذا البروتوكول على هذه الجرائم [رهنا بمراعاة النظام القانوني للدولة]].

4. States Parties shall ensure that all child victims of the practices condemned in the present protocol have access to adequate procedures to seek, without discrimination, compensation for damages from those legally responsible.
4- تؤمّن الدول الأطراف لجميع الأطفال ضحايا الممارسات المدانة في هذا البروتوكول إمكانية الوصول إلى الإجراءات المناسبة لالتماس الحصول، دون تمييز، على تعويض عن الأضرار التي لحقتهم من الأشخاص المسؤولين قانوناً عن ذلك.

٤- تؤمّن الدول اﻷطراف لجميع اﻷطفال ضحايا الممارسات المدانة في هذا البروتوكول إمكانية الوصول إلى الاجراءات المناسبة لالتماس الحصول، دون تمييز، على تعويض عن اﻷضرار التي لحقتهم من اﻷشخاص المسؤولين قانوناً عن ذلك.

27. Reports should contain information on the measures adopted by the State party to implement article 8 of the Protocol with a view to ensure that the rights and best interests of children who have been the victims of the practices prohibited under the present Protocol are fully recognized, respected and protected at all stages of criminal investigations and proceedings which concern them.

Article 8 of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography requires States parties to adopt appropriate measures to protect the rights and interests of child victims of the practices prohibited under the present Protocol at all stages of the criminal justice process.
69- ينص البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل في المادة 8 منه على أن تتخذ الدول الأطراف في جميع مراحل الإجراءات الجنائية التدابير اللازمة لحماية حقوق ومصالح الأطفال ضحايا الممارسات التي يحظرها البروتوكول.
