While noting that some parties to armed conflict have responded to its call upon them to prepare and implement concrete time-bound action plans to halt the recruitment and use of children in violation of applicable international law:
إذ يلاحظ أن بعض الأطراف في النزاع المسلح قد استجابت لدعوته الموجهة إليها لإعداد وتنفيذ خطط عمل عملية ومحددة زمنيا لوقف تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري:

(ii) To immediately halt all violations and abuses committed against children, in particular killing and maiming and attacks against schools in violation of applicable international law and to fully recognize and respect the civilian status of schools;
' 2` الوقف الفوري لجميع الانتهاكات والاعتداءات المرتكبة ضد الأطفال، وخاصة أعمال القتل والتشويه وشن الهجمات على المدارس في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري وعلى الاعتراف اعترافا كاملا بالوضع المدني للمدارس واحترامه احتراما كاملا؛

They should take strong and urgent action to bring to justice individuals responsible for the recruitment and use of children in the armed forces or armed groups, and their use in hostilities, in violation of applicable international law.
وينبغي أن تتخذ إجراءات قوية وعاجلة لمقاضاة الأفراد المسؤولين عن تجنيد واستخدام الأطفال في قوات مسلحة أو جماعات مسلحة واستخدامهم في عمليات حربية، في انتهاك للقانون الدولي المنطبق.

(iii) To continue its policy of not using anti-personnel landmines in violation of applicable international law and to remove unexploded ordnance, in order to avoid the killing and maiming of children;

(iv) To take measures to stop the killing and maiming of children resulting from aerial and artillery bombs and to stop using anti-personnel landmines in violation of applicable international law and to remove unexploded ordnance immediately after the cessation of hostilities, in order to avoid the killing and maiming of children as a result of their use;
' 4` على اتخاذ تدابير لوقف قتل الأطفال وتشويههم نتيجة للقصف الجوي والمدفعي ووقف استخدام الألغام المضادة للأفراد في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري ولإزالة القذائف غير المتفجرة بعد توقف الأعمال العدائية فورا، بغية تجنب قتل الأطفال وتشويههم نتيجة لهذا الاستخدام؛

5. While noting that some parties to armed conflict have responded to its call upon them to prepare and implement concrete timebound action plans to halt the recruitment and use of children in violation of applicable international law:
5 - إذ يلاحظ أن بعض الأطراف في النزاع المسلح قد استجابت لدعوته الموجهة إليها لإعداد وتنفيذ خطط عمل عملية ومحددة زمنيا لوقف تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري:

(b) Urging BIFF to publicly express their commitment and take active steps to end all recruitment and use of children in violation of applicable international law and to prevent all violations and abuses committed against children, including by entering into dialogue with the United Nations.
(ب) يحث مقاتلي بانغسامورو الإسلاميين في سبيل الحرية على الإعلان عن التزامهم بوقف تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري وبمنع جميع الانتهاكات والاعتداءات المرتكبة ضد الأطفال واتخاذ خطوات فعالة لتحقيق ذلك، تشمل الدخول في حوار مع الأمم المتحدة.

(d) Requesting the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit to immediately end and prevent the use of children, killing and maiming and the military use of schools and health units in violation of applicable international law, and expressing concern about several incidents of sexual violence against children;
(د) تطلب إلى القوات المسلحة الفلبينية والوحدة الجغرافية المدنية التابعة لها أن توقف وتمنع فورا استخدام الأطفال وقتلهم وتشويههم واستخدام المدارس والوحدات الصحية لأغراض عسكرية في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري وتعرب عن القلق إزاء ارتكاب العديد من حوادث العنف الجنسي ضد الأطفال؛

(a) Welcoming the designation of a high-level focal point to work with the United Nations towards the development of an action plan to address the recruitment of children, and urging the Transitional Federal Government to take concrete measures to end such recruitment, in violation of applicable international law, and to take action against perpetrators;
(أ) يرحب فيها بتعيين منسقة رفيعة المستوى للعمل مع الأمم المتحدة على وضع خطة عمل للتصدي لمسألة تجنيد الأطفال، ويحث الحكومة الاتحادية الانتقالية على اتخاذ تدابير ملموسة لوقف تجنيد الأطفال في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري واتخاذ إجراءات ضد الجناة؛

(a) Reiterates its call upon those parties to armed conflict listed in the annexes to the report of the SecretaryGeneral on children and armed conflict that have not already done so to prepare and implement, without further delay, action plans to halt the recruitment and use of children in violation of applicable international law;

5. Takes note with deep concern of the continued recruitment and use of children by parties mentioned in the Secretary-General's report in situations of armed conflict which are on its agenda, in violation of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children and, in this regard:
5 - يحيط علما مع القلق الشديد باستمرار الأطراف في تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم على نحو ما ورد في تقرير الأمين العام بشأن حالات الصراع المسلح المدرجة على جدول أعمال المجلس، بما في ذلك من انتهاك للقانون الدولي المنطبق فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم، وهو، في هذا الصدد:

" يرحب مجلس الأمن بالتعاون الذي أبدته بعض الأطراف في الصراعات المسلحة للممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام واليونيسيف والمستشارين المعنيين بحماية الأطفال التابعين لعمليات حفظ السلام في إعداد وتنفيذ خطط العمل الرامية إلى وقف تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم في انتهاك للقانون الدولي المنطبق.

Resolution 1698 (2006) also authorizes the sanctions committee to impose the personal sanctions referred to in resolution 1596 (2005) on individuals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo who recruit or employ children in situations of armed conflict in violation of applicable international law and who commit serious violations of international law involving the targeting of children in situations of armed conflict.
