Moreover, when preparing reports and programmes on ethnic and religious minorities, discrimination of minorities on the basis of race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, cultural or social origin, family, property, birth or other status, residence, state of health, age, as well as any other sign shall be impermissible (para. 15.1).

وهذا يؤكد أهمية طلب المجلس إلى الأمين العام، الوارد في الاستنتاجات المتفق عليها 1979/2(2)، بعرض المسائل والنهج بطريقة تراعي مسائل الجنسين لدى إعداد التقارير عن طريق تزويد الآلية الحكومية الدولية بقاعدة تحليلية لصوغ سياسات تستجيب لشؤون كل من الجنسين.
