301. The Committee recommended training for personnel working with child victims of abuse. In response to that recommendations, the following remarks are in order:

(e) Evaluate the work of existing structures and provide training to the professionals working with child victims of violence; and

The Committee expresses serious concern that in dealing with child victims of different forms of abuse, the Holy See has systematically given precedence to the preservation of the reputation of the Church and the alleged offender over the protection of child victims.

43. The Committee urges the State party to strengthen available psychosocial assistance for children and to recruit more mental health workers and other specialized professional to work with child victims of conflict.
43- تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على تعزيز المساعدة النفسية والاجتماعية المتاحة للأطفال وعلى توظيف عدد أكبر من العاملين في مجال الصحة العقلية وغيرهم من المهنيين المتخصصين للعمل مع الأطفال ضحايا النزاعات.

Adequate and appropriate training on the specific needs, rights and vulnerabilities of child victims, particularly legal and psychological training, is provided for persons working with child victims of trafficking.
(ﻫ) أن يحصل الأشخاص العاملون مع الأطفال ضحايا الاتجار على التدريب الكافي والملائم في مجال حاجات الأطفال الخاصة وحقوقهم وأوجه ضعفهم، ولا سيما التدريب القانوني والنفسي.

(e) Strengthening the capacities of relevant government institutions and ensuring that law enforcement officers are trained in working with child victims of violence and abuse in a child-sensitive manner;
(ﻫ) تعزيز قدرات المؤسسات الحكومية ذات الصلة، وضمان أن يتم تدريب الموظفين المكلفين بإنفاذ القانون على العمل مع الأطفال ضحايا العنف والاعتداء بطريقة تراعي مشاعر الطفل؛

(d) Take measures to ensure appropriate training, particularly legal and psychological, for persons working with child victims of the offences prohibited under the Optional Protocol, in accordance with article 8, paragraph 4, of the Optional Protocol;
(د) أن تتخذ تدابير لضمان توفير التدريب الملائم، ولا سيما على الصعيدين القانوني والنفسي، للأشخاص العاملين مع الأطفال ضحايا الجرائم المحظورة بموجب البروتوكول الاختياري، وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 8 من البروتوكول؛

The Committee regrets the lack of information on the activities undertaken by the Holy See, through individuals and institutions working under its authority, to disseminate the Optional Protocol, especially to those who work with child victims of recruitment and involvement in armed conflict.
7- تأسف اللجنة لعدم وجود معلومات عن الأنشطة التي يضطلع بها الكرسي الرسولي عن طريق الأفراد والمؤسسات الخاضعة لسلطته، في مجال نشر البروتوكول الاختياري، لا سيما في أوساط العاملين مع الأطفال ضحايا التجنيد والإشراك في النـزاعات المسلحة.

135. In addition, training was given to 900 police and Armed Forces officers on legal procedures for dealing with child victims of practices that are prohibited under the Optional Protocol.
135- كما تم تدريب عدد (900) شخص من ضباط القوات المسلحة وأفراد الشرطة حول أساليب التعامل القانوني مع الأطفال ضحايا الممارسات المحظورة بموجب هذا البروتوكول.

Access by child protection monitors to first-hand information and to direct contact with child victims of the violence has been critically compromised by security concerns, especially in the second half of the year.
وقد قوضت المخاوف الأمنية بشكل خطير جهود مراقبي حماية الأطفال للحصول على معلومات مباشرة والاتصال المباشر مع الأطفال من ضحايا العنف، لا سيما في النصف الثاني من العام.
