In cooperation with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, MINUSMA is training the Malian armed forces on the protection of women and children in situations of conflict.

- That the countries of the subregion implement effectively the international conventions and laws guaranteeing the protection of women and children in situations of armed conflict;

11. Requests in particular that MONUC share all relevant information with the Group of Experts, especially information on the recruitment and use of children, and on the targeting of women and children in situations of armed conflicts;
11 - يطلب بصفة خاصة أن تقوم البعثة بإطلاع فريق الخبراء على جميع المعلومات ذات الصلة، ولا سيما المعلومات المتعلقة بتجنيد الأطفال واستغلالهم واستهداف النساء والأطفال في حالات النزاعات المسلحة؛

The Group further recommended that the Committee call upon MONUC to share information with the Group of Experts on child recruitment and the targeting of women and children in situations of armed conflict in order to ensure maximum support to the Group for the purpose of verifying and analysing relevant information.
