Le Comité d'experts est invité à prendre note du rapport et à exprimer son point de vue sur les mesures à prendre pour faciliter l'intégration de l'information géospatiale terrestre et marine, afin que la planification, la gestion et les solutions puissent être définies pour les États Membres de manière transparente, compatible et globale.

b) A souligné qu'il était essentiel de mieux intégrer l'information géospatiale terrestre et marine, notamment celle concernant les terres et eaux côtières pour faciliter une planification et une gestion fluides, compatibles et globales, et a encouragé les institutions nationales compétentes à collaborer pour ce faire;
(ب) شددت على الأهمية الحاسمة لتكامل المعلومات الجغرافية المكانية البرية والبحرية من أجل تسهيل التخطيط والإدارة، وخاصة في المناطق والمياه الساحلية، على نحو سلس قابل للتنفيذ المشترك وكلي، وشجعت المؤسسات الوطنية المختصة على العمل على معالجة هذه المساءل معاً؛

À sa deuxième session, tenue en août 2012, le Comité d'experts a constaté que les mers, les océans et les eaux littorales constituaient une ressource importante qui n'était pas cartographiée de manière satisfaisante, ni convenablement intégrée à l'information géospatiale terrestre.
