The unit encroached on the construction site and disabled a bulldozer, before withdrawing from Lebanese territory.

On instructions from my Government, I should like to inform you that, on 7 January 2008, Israeli enemy forces violated the Blue Line and infiltrated 210 metres into Lebanese territory (UTM coordinates 748493-685838). Those forces also kidnapped the Lebanese citizen Fadi Abdul Al, who was herding cattle on the outskirts of the town of Halta next to Shab`a Farms, and detained him for one day.
