The State, as specified in this article, shall employ all resources at its disposal to provide employment for manual or intellectual workers and to ensure them and their families the economic conditions for a dignified existence.
وتقوم الدولة، كما هو محدد في هذه المادة، باستخدام كافة الموارد المتوافرة لديها لاتاحة فرص العمل اليدوي أو الذهني للعمال وأن تضمن لهم وﻷسرهم اﻷوضاع الاقتصادية التي تتيح لهم حياة كريمة.

8. Reaffirms the duty of all States to protect children from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, maltreatment or exploitation, and calls upon States:
8- يؤكد من جديد أن من واجب جميع الدول حماية الأطفال من جميع أشكال العنف البدني أو الذهني أو الإصابة أو الإيذاء أو سوء المعاملة أو الاستغلال، ويهيب بالدول:

It is also concerned that children suffering from profound distress as well as sensory, intellectual or mental health disability after experiencing and witnessing war-related violence and affliction have had limited access to assistance for their physical and psychological recovery.
وتشعر بالقلق أيضاً لأن الأطفال الذين يعانون آلاما بالغة، إضافة إلى التعوّق الحسي أو الذهني أو النفسي نتيجة تعرضهم للعنف والمحن المرتبطين بالحرب أو مشاهدتهم لهما، لا يتمكنون، إلا قليلا، من تلقي المساعدة لاستعادة عافيتهم البدنية والنفسية.

Physical, sexual or mental violence and neglect of children by individuals and groups in the course of organized crime, including drug-related organized crime, commercial sexual exploitation and the sale and trafficking of children will be examined.
12- وسوف تتناول الدراسة العنف الجسدي والجنسي أو الذهني وإهمال الأطفال من قِبل أفراد أو مجموعات الجريمة المنظمة، بما فيها الجريمة المنظمة المتصلة بالمخدرات، والاستغلال الجنسي التجاري وبيع وتهريب الأطفال.

7. In the course of criminal proceedings no one must be subjected to torture, unlawful physical or mental violence, including through the use of drugs, hunger, exhaustion, hypnosis, deprivation of medical aid, as well as to other cruel treatment.
7- في أثناء سير الإجراءات الجنائية، يجب عدم إخضاع أحد للتعذيب أو العنف البدني أو الذهني غير المشروع، بطرق منها استخدام العقاقير أو التجويع أو الإرهاق أو التنويم المغنطيسي أو الحرمان من المساعدة الطبية، فضلاً عن ضروب المعاملة القاسية الأخرى.

46. Pursuant to article 24, paragraph 2 of the Act, special educational institutions are provided for children requiring lengthy treatment or who have physical or mental developmental defects.
46- ويجب تأسيس مرافق تعليمية خاصة للأطفال الذين يحتاجون لفترات علاجية مطولة أو يعانون عيوباً تتعلق بنمائهم البدني أو الذهني (الفقرة 2 من المادة 24 في القانون).

(p) " Violence " is understood to mean " all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse " , as listed in article 19, paragraph 1, of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
