According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, increases in greenhouse gases have already caused a temperature rise of 0.3 to 0.6 degrees Celsius during the last 100 years.

وطلب بعض المشاركين إلى مؤتمر الأطراف توجيه الدعوة إلى الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بتغير المناخ من أجل إعداد تقرير خاص عن التكيف في القطاعات المتأثرة، باستخدام دراسات حالات إفرادية بشأن تقييم المخاطر وتأثيرها لتقديم أمثلة عن أفضل الممارسات.

12. The second meeting of the Conference of the Parties submitted a statement to the Intergovernmental Panel on Forests, and the Conference of the Parties has considered further inputs.
١٢ - قدم الاجتماع الثاني لمؤتمر اﻷطراف بيانا إلى الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بالغابات، ونظر مؤتمر اﻷطراف في إسهامات أخرى.

4. Decides to invite its President to transmit this decision on forests and its annex to the Intergovernmental Panel on Forests at its fourth meeting;
٤ - يقرر أن يدعو الرئيس إلى إحالة هذا المقرر المتعلق بالغابات والمرفق بهذا المقرر إلى الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بالغابات في اجتماعه الرابع؛

Action: The SBSTA is invited to consider the information contained in the above-mentioned report and forward it to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for its consideration.
15- الإجراء: تُدعى الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية إلى النظر في المعلومات الواردة في التقرير المذكور أعلاه وإحالته إلى الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بتغير المناخ كي ينظر فيه.

4. Urges Governments in a position to do so, to provide financial, technical and scientific support to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change process to ensure the continuation of its effective operation and a successful completion of the fourth assessment;
