7. the Committee against Torture was devoting an increasing portion of its time to the consideration of communications from individuals and to efforts related to the inquiry procedure established under article 20 of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
٧- واستطرد قائلا إن لجنة مناهضة التعذيب تكرس جزءا متزايدا من وقتها للنظر في البلاغات الواردة من اﻷفراد وللجهود المتصلة بإجراءات التحقيق المنصوص عليها في المادة ٠٢ من اتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاانسانية أو المهينة.

18. the Committee against Torture had expressed the opinion that Argentina had a moral duty to compensate the victims of human rights abuses; such compensation was indeed being given, and had already been received by almost all of the victims.
