Mr. Posta (Joint Inspection Unit), introducing the report of the Joint Inspection Unit on business continuity in the United Nations system (A/67/83), said that it reviewed the lessons learned from events that had interrupted operations in 2011, such as the earthquake in Santiago, the Arab Spring and the floods in Copenhagen.
