We have perused the first annual report of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991, which has been presented at this session.

Likewise, the unwillingness of the Belgrade authorities to cooperate with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 was cause for concern.

In that connection, the Security Council had recently established an International Tribunal for the prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, and a number of forums in the United Nations were elaborating international legal instruments in various fields.

وأضاف أن على اللجنة الخامسة أن تتناول أيضا عمليات السلم اﻷخرى، فضلا عن مسألة المحكمة الدولية لمحاكمة اﻷشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي التي ارتكبت في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة منذ ١٩٩١.

١٠ - ويكون المدعي العام مسؤولا عن إجراء جميع التحقيقات ومحاكمات اﻷشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي التي ارتكبت في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة منذ ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩١.

1. The Prosecutor shall be responsible for the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of Rwanda and Rwandan citizens responsible for such violations committed in the territory of neighbouring States, between 1 January 1994 and 31 December 1994.
١ - يتولى المدعي العام مسؤولية التحقيق مع اﻷشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي المرتكبة في اقليم رواندا والمواطنين الروانديين المسؤولين عن ارتكاب هذه الانتهاكات في أراضي الدول المجاورة، بين ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤ و ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤ وإقامة الدعوى عليهم.

1. The Prosecutor shall be responsible for the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of Rwanda and Rwandan citizens responsible for such violations committed in the territory of neighbouring States, between 1 January 1994 and 31 December 1994.
١ - يتولى المدعي العام مسؤولية التحقيق مع اﻷشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي المرتكبة في أراضي رواندا والمواطنين الروانديين المسؤولين عن ارتكاب هذه الانتهاكات في أراضي الدول المجاورة، بين ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٤ و ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤ وإقامة الدعوى عليهم.

18. The International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia was established by the Security Council in 1993 to provide a judicial solution to the grave breaches of international humanitarian law occurring in the region.
٨١ - إن المحكمة الدولية لمحاكمة اﻷشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي التي ارتكبت في أراضي يوغوسلافيا السابقة قد أنشئت بمقتضى القرار الذي أصدره مجلس اﻷمن في عام ٣٩٩١ من أجل ايجاد حل قانوني للانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي التي تقع في الاقليم.
