In these circumstances, the Committee considers that the State party violated its obligations under article 2, paragraphs (a) and (c), read in conjunction with article 1 of the Convention, by not ensuring a practical realization of the principle of equal treatment provided for by the Labour Act and effective protection of women against any act of gender-based discrimination.

In these circumstances, I am of the view that that the State party violated its obligations under article 2, paragraphs (a) and (c), read in conjunction with article 1 of the Convention, by not ensuring a practical realization of the principle of equal treatment provided for by the Labour Act and effective protection of women against any act of gender-based discrimination.
