The Constitution of the Republic establishes the protection and promotion of the family and the State guarantees that obligation and further declares that it is in the interest of society to take action against the causes of family disintegration.

They offer a safe haven to compensate for the family affection that has been lost and to dispel any potential feeling of inferiority.
130- دور الدولة هي مؤسسات اجتماعية إيوائية تقوم برعاية الأطفال والصغار والأحداث الذين يعانون من حالات التفكك الأسري أو من فقدان أحد الوالدين أو كليهما وتوفير أجواء سليمة لهم للتعويض عن الحنان العائلي الذي افتقدوه وتجنب كل ما يشعرهم بأنهم دون الآخرين.

Take all necessary measures to guarantee the protection of the family, and lay down an efficient system for families in order to guarantee the enhancement of social cohesion and prevent family disintegration and social fracturing (Mauritania).

44. Through this programme, UNDP provided legal aid services, including legal representation, counselling and information, to almost 22,000 women in 2013, in particular with regard to family breakdown issues and disputes frequently linked to family violence, including applications by women for divorce, separation, custody, maintenance and, alimony and inheritance issues.

State homes care for infants, youngsters and juveniles suffering deprivation, family break-up or loss of one or both parents by providing a suitable environment to prepare them for the future and make up for the lack of family affection. State homes are divided into three categories on the basis of age group:
176- تهدف دور الدولة إلى رعاية الأطفال والصغار والأحداث الذين يعانون من حالات الحرمان أو التفكك الأسري أو فقدانهم لأحد الأبوين أو كليهما، وتوفير الأجواء المناسبة التي تعدهم للمستقبل وتعوضهم الحنان العائلي وتقسم دور الدولة من الناحية العمرية إلى ثلاث فئات هي:

Children who use the services of these centres are either homeless, come from broken homes or are victims of domestic violence who have run away from home.
والأطفال المستفيدون من خدمات هذه المراكز هم الأطفال المشردون أو ضحايا التفكك الأسري أو ضحايا العنف المنزلي الفارين من أسرهم؛
