11. The Convention against Torture, acceded to by Jordan on 13 November 1991, became a binding part of the country's domestic law upon promulgation by publication in the Official Gazette on 15 June 2006.

Following his visit, the revision was debated in Parliament and after further revisions the amendment was adopted; the revision to article 151 was published in the Official Gazette on 20 November 1998.
وبعد زيارته نوقش التعديل في البرلمان، وبعد عدة تنقيحات اعتُمد التعديل؛ ونُشر تعديل المادة 151 في الجريدة الرسمية بتاريخ 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1998.

589. The Libertad y Progreso Institute was created as a decentralized agency of the Office of the President of the Republic by Executive Decree No. 16 dated 26 February 1991, published in the Diario Oficial of 27 February 1991.

1. The law of 25 April 2007 inserting article 391 sexies into the Penal Code and amending certain provisions of the Civil Code with a view to criminalizing forced marriage and expanding the means of annulling it, published in the Moniteur Belge of 15 June 2007, entered into force on 25 June 2007.

2. Regarding alimony due to divorce, the law of 27 April 2007 reforming divorce (Moniteur Belge of 7 June 2007) entered into force on 1 September 2007.
