At its 10th plenary meeting, on 25 April 2013, the Economic and Social Council decided, with regard to the humanitarian affairs segment of its substantive session of 2013, that:
قرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، في جلسته العامة 10، المعقودة في 25 نيسان/أبريل 2013، فيما يخص الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون الإنسانية من دورته الموضوعية لعام 2013، ما يلي:

To this end, the Economic and Social Council shall ensure that its next humanitarian affairs segment, of its substantive session of 2000, addresses the issue of coordination of humanitarian and disaster relief assistance of the United Nations to Mozambique.
ولهذا الغرض، سوف يكفل المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي تناول مسألة تنسيق المساعدة الإنسانية والمساعدة الغوثية في حالة الكوارث المقدمة من الأمم المتحدة إلى موزامبيق في الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون الإنسانية من دورته الموضوعية لعام 2000.

At its 2nd plenary meeting, on 31 January 2001, the Economic and Social Council decided that the theme for the humanitarian affairs segment of its substantive session of 2001 would be " Strengthening the Coordination of the Emergency Humanitarian Assistance of the United Nations. "

وإذ يرحب بقرار المجلس النظر في موضوع " تعزيز تنسيق المساعدة الإنسانية: التحديات الحالية وأثرها في المستقبل " خلال الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون الإنسانية من دورته الموضوعية لعام 2009،

6. Also requests the Secretary-General to report to it, for consideration at its fifty-seventh session, under the item on strengthening of the coordination of humanitarian and disaster relief assistance of the United Nations, including special economic assistance, through the Economic and Social Council at the humanitarian segment of its substantive session in 2002, on the implementation of the present resolution.
6 - تطلب أيضا إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إليها، عن طريق المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون الإنسانية من دورته الموضوعية لعام 2002، وفي إطار البند المتعلق بتعزيز تنسيق المساعدة الإنسانية والمساعدة الغوثية التي تقدمها الأمم المتحدة في حالات الكوارث، بما في ذلك المساعدة الاقتصادية الخاصة، تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار لكي تنظر فيه في دورتها السابعة والخمسين.

8. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly, through the Economic and Social Council, at the humanitarian affairs segment of its substantive session of 2006, on the implementation of the present resolution and on the progress made in the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts of the affected countries.

At its fifty-fourth session, the General Assembly adopted resolution 54/96 M on assistance to Madagascar following the tropical cyclones and requested the Secretary-General to report to it, at its fifty-fifth session, through the Council at the humanitarian affairs segment of its substantive session of 2000, on the implementation of the resolution.
