It is here that I should like to express the pleasure and gratitude of all members of the Court for the terms in which the use of the Court is recommended in the resolution of the General Assembly on the report of the Secretary-General on the work of the Organization.

In that context, the Special Committee should bear in mind the debate within the United Nations, particularly within the General Assembly, on the report of the Secretary-General entitled " An Agenda for Peace " .
وينبغي للجنة الخاصة، في هذا الصدد، أن تأخذ في اعتبارها المناقشة التي جرت داخل اﻷمم المتحدة، لا سيما داخل الجمعية العامة بشأن تقرير اﻷمين العام المعنون " خطة للسلم " .

In that context, the Special Committee should bear in mind the debate within the United Nations, particularly within the General Assembly, on the report of the Secretary-General entitled " An Agenda for Peace " .

Also decided that future decisions on follow-up conferences whose ten-year anniversaries were imminent should be kept pending subject to the decisions to be taken by the General Assembly on the report of the working group.
(ج) وقررت أيضاً إبقاء القرارات التي ستتخذ في المستقبل بشأن متابعة المؤتمرات التي توشك ذكراها السنوية العاشرة أن تحل رهناً بالقرارات التي ستتخذها الجمعية العامة بشأن تقرير الفريق العامل.

As indicated above, in its resolution 55/5 A, the General Assembly decided to use the " net to net " approach for calculations for the application of Article 19, subject to the outcome of negotiations in the General Assembly on the report of the Secretary-General and the recommendations of the Committee on Contributions thereon, and subject to further decision on its implementation by the General Assembly.

Mr. Hussain (India): Thank you, Madam President, for giving me the opportunity to address the General Assembly on the report of the International Court of Justice (A/64/4), one of the principal organs of the United Nations.

In our statement to the General Assembly on the report of the International Court of Justice in 2009, we said that given the lack of a compulsory system for the judicial settlement of disputes, States interpret their international law obligations in different, often conflicting, ways.
