Since that meeting, the Chair of the configuration, Ambassador Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, has sought to maintain and enhance the engagement of international partners in providing political support and financial resources for the efforts of the Government in peacebuilding, economic recovery and development.

The Council was briefed in consultations of the whole by the Chair of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1572 (2004) concerning Côte d'Ivoire, Ambassador Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, on 20 October 2011.
