The Government made a provision for the law on equal treatment and legal protection against discrimination - anti-discrimination law which is to unite the legislation on the protection against discrimination and to ensure the compliance of the Czech legal system with the European Union legislation.

On 8 March 1995, the Constitutional Court, in the case of Dreithaler, established that the confiscation decree No. 108 of 25 October 1945 (see 2.2), on the basis of which the authors had lost their property, is part of the Czech legal system and does not breach any constitutional principles.
