It commended the dynamism with which the Bureau had performed its duties and, in particular, its active contribution, in cooperation with the secretariat, to the preparation and organization of the twenty-sixth ministerial meeting.

The Committee held its twenty-sixth ministerial meeting in Yaoundé from 3 to 7 September 2007 as well as a subregional conference on cross-border security issues in Central Africa.
وعقدت اللجنة اجتماعها الوزاري السادس والعشرين في ياوندي في الفترة من 3 إلى 7 أيلول/سبتمبر 2007، إلى جانب عقد مؤتمر دون إقليمي حول مسائل الأمن عبر الحدود في وسط أفريقيا.

In view of all the above, and taking into account the relevant recommendations of the twenty-sixth ministerial meeting of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, under the Sao Tome Initiative, the member States have decided to establish a non-binding code of conduct for the defence and security forces in Central Africa, the provisions of which are set out below.

A delegation headed by the Secretary General of the organization also attended the twenty-sixth ministerial session of ESCWA, held in Beirut from 17 to 20 May.

The Committee concluded its consideration of the agenda item on cross-border security problems in Central Africa by deciding to hold a subregional conference on the matter during its twenty-sixth ministerial meeting to be held in Yaoundé from 3 to 7 September 2007.

I have the honour to transmit to you herewith, on behalf of the current Chairman of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, the report of the Committee's twenty-sixth ministerial meeting, held from 3 to 7 September 2007 in Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon (see annex).

Meanwhile, discussions on transborder security problems in Central Africa took place in Yaoundé in September 2007, in the margins of the twenty-sixth ministerial meeting of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa. BONUCA participated in those deliberations at the request of the member States.
وفي الوقت نفسه، جرت مناقشات بشأن مشاكل الأمن عبر الحدود في وسط أفريقيا، في ياوندي في أيلول/سبتمبر 2007، على هامش الاجتماع الوزاري السادس والعشرين للجنة الأمم المتحدة الاستشارية الدائمة المعنية بمسائل الأمن في وسط أفريقيا؛ وشارك مكتب دعم بناء السلام في جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى في تلك المداولات بطلب من الدول الأعضاء.

In 2007, the Centre was entrusted with the task of serving as the secretariat of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa; in this capacity it organized the twenty-sixth ministerial meeting of the Standing Advisory Committee, held in Yaoundé from 3 to 7 September 2007, and the twenty-seventh ministerial meeting, held in Luanda from 13 to 15 May 2008.
