وهو يلخص النتائج المالية ﻷنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٤-١٩٩٥، ويقدم نظرة عامة مختصرة للحالة المالية للمنظمة بأسرها.

1. Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on the programme performance of the United Nations for the biennium 1996–19976 and the recommendations of the Committee for Programme and Coordination thereon, subject to the provisions below;
١ - تحيـط علمـا بتقرير اﻷميـن العــام عن أداء برامج اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧)٦( وتوصيات لجنة البرنامج والتنسيق المتعلقة به، وذلك رهنا باﻷحكام التالية؛

3. For its further consideration of the item, the Committee had before it a note by the Secretariat on the programme performance of the United Nations for the biennium 1996–1997 (A/C.5/53/CRP.1/Rev.1).
٣ - وكان معروضا على اللجنة ﻷغراض مواصلة النظر في هذا البند مذكرة من اﻷمانة العامة عن أداء برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧ .(A/C.5/53/CRP.1/Rev.1)

The General Assembly, decides to transmit the note by the Secretariat on the programme performance of the United Nations for the biennium 1996–1997 A/C.5/53/CRP.1/Rev.1. to the Committee for Programme and Coordination for consideration at its thirty-ninth session.
تقرر الجمعية العامة إحالة مذكرة اﻷمانة العامة عن أداء برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧)١( إلى لجنة البرنامج والتنسيق لتنظر فيها في دورتها التاسعة والثلاثين. ــ ــ ــ ــ ــ ـ )١( .A/C.5/53/CRP.1/Rev.1

10. The report of the Secretary-General on programme performance of the United Nations for the biennium 1996–1997 (A/53/122 and Add.1) states that the reporting on programme performance provides only a quantitative picture of the status and pattern of output delivery.
١٠ - ويذكر تقرير اﻷمين العام عن أداء برامج اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧ A/53/122) و (Add.1 أن تقديم التقارير عن أداء البرامج لا يوفر سوى صورة كمية عن حالة ونمط تنفيذ النواتج.

31. At its 15th meeting, on 15 June 1999, the Committee for Programme and Coordination considered the note by the Secretary-General on the programme performance of the United Nations for the biennium 1996–1997 (E/AC.51/1999/7).
٣١ - في الجلسة ١٥ المعقودة في ١٥ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٩، تناولت لجنة البرنامج والتنسيق مذكرة اﻷمين العام عن أداء برامج اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧ (E/AC.51/1999/7).

8. Upon enquiry, the Advisory Committee was provided with information on the cost to the United Nations in the biennium 1996-1997 of the increase in the post adjustment authorized by ICSC, with effect from 1 November 1995.
٨ - وزودت اللجنة الاستشارية بعد الاستفسار بمعلومات بشأن التكلفة التي ستتكبدها اﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧ نتيجة لزيادة تسوية مقر العمل التي أذنت بها لجنة الخدمة المدنية الدولية، اعتبارا من ١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥.
