Background: The COP, by its decision 19/CP.9, adopted modalities and procedures for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the clean development mechanism (CDM) in the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol.
14- خلفية: اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف، بمقرره 19/م أ-9، الطرائق والإجراءات اللازمة للاضطلاع بأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة في فترة الالتزام الأولى لبروتوكول كيوتو.

The SBSTA considered text to incorporate the modalities and procedures for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the CDM agreed in decision 19/CP.9 into the relevant sections of the guidelines under Articles 7 and 8 of the Kyoto Protocol.
52- ونظرت الهيئة الفرعية في نص لإدماج الطرائق والإجراءات الخاصة بأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة، المتفق عليها في المقرر 19/م أ-9، ضمن الفروع ذات الصلة من المبادئ التوجيهية بمقتضى المادتين 7 و8 من بروتوكول كيوتو.

Since September 2004 when the Board invited project participants to submit baseline and monitoring methodologies for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the CDM for its consideration, two proposals have been received.
25- منذ أيلول/سبتمبر 2004 عندما دعا المجلس المشتركين في المشاريع إلى تقديم مقترحات منهجيات خاصة بخطوط الأساس والرصد فيما يتصل بأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة كي ينظر فيها، ورد مقترحان من هذه المقترحات.

The Board noted that if this revision is applied, reforestation of lands with forests in exhaustion would meet all requirements contained in the modalities and procedures for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the clean development mechanism in the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol.
4- وأشار المجلس إلى أنه إذا طُبق هذا التنقيح، فستستوفي مسألة إعادة تحريج الأراضي التي بها غابات آيلة للاستنفاد جميع الشروط الواردة في الطرائق والإجراءات المتعلقة بأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة في فترة الالتزام الأولى لبروتوكول كيوتو().

The proposed project activity conforms to all other requirements for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the CDM in decision -/CP.9, the present annex and relevant decisions by the COP/MOP and the Executive Board;

14. The modalities and procedures contained in decision 5/CMP.1 for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the clean development mechanism, and in decision6/CMP.1 for small-scale afforestation and reforestation project activities under the clean development mechanism, shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to the second commitment period.
14- تنطبق على فترة الالتزام الثانية، مع تغيير ما يلزم تغييره، الطرائق والإجراءات الواردة في المقرر 5/م أإ-1 والمتعلقة بأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة، والطرائق والإجراءات الواردة في المقرر 6/م أإ-1 والمتعلقة بأنشطة المشاريع الصغيرة للتحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة.

The COP, by its decision 19/CP.9, requested the SBSTA, at its twentieth session, to ensure that modalities and procedures for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the CDM in the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol are incorporated into the guidelines under Articles 7 and 8 of the Kyoto Protocol, in accordance with paragraph 4 of decision 22/CP.8.

Small-scale afforestation and reforestation project activities under the clean development mechanism (CDM) shall follow the stages of the project cycle specified in the modalities and procedures for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the CDM contained in the annex to decision 19/CP.9 (hereinafter referred to as the modalities and procedures for afforestation and reforestation project activities under the CDM).
1- تتبع أنشطة المشاريع الصغيرة للتحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة مراحل دورة المشروع المبينة في الطرائق والإجراءات اللازمة للاضطلاع بأنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة الواردة في مرفق المقرر 19/م أ-9 (يشار إليها فيما يلي بطرائق وإجراءات أنشطة مشاريع التحريج وإعادة التحريج في إطار الآلية).
