أما فيما يتعلق بمشكلة مصادر الطاقة النووية، فإن وفد بلدي يتفق تماما مع الاستنتاجات التي توصلت اليها اللجنة الفرعية القانونية فيما يتعلق بتنقيح المبادئ المتصلة باستخدام مصادر الطاقة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي.

That delegation noted that terrestrial launches were made with NPS systems already on board and that the work of the Working Group on the Use of Nuclear Power Sources in Outer Space should lead to the establishment of standards and norms for the use of NPS in space.
وأشار ذلك الوفد إلى أن المركبات التي يتم إطلاقها من الأرض تحمل أصلا على متنها نظم مصادر الطاقة النووية، وأن عمل الفريق العامل المعني باستخدام مصادر الطاقة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي ينبغي أن يؤدي إلى إرساء معايير وقواعد بشأن استخدام تلك المصادر في الفضاء.
