It also provides a series of technical assistance programmes and projects in support of developing countries, paying particular attention to the special needs of the least-developed countries, the small islands and landlocked countries as well as to countries with economies in transition.
كما تقدم سلسلة من برامج ومشاريع المساعدة التقنية دعماً للبلدان النامية مولية اهتماماً خاصاً للاحتياجات الخاصة لأقل البلدان نمواً والبلدان الجزرية الصغيرة والبلدان غير الساحلية، بالإضافة إلى البلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية.

46- ومع أنَّ انضمام جميع دول العالم إلى اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة هدفٌ قريب المنال، فإنَّ المعلومات المتوافرة حاليًّا عن تنفيذ الاتفاقية على الصعيد المحلي غيرُ كافية، مما قد يؤثِّر سلباً في تصميم برامج ومشاريع المساعدة التقنية وتنفيذها تنفيذاً فعَّالاً.

States Parties shall further consider establishing voluntary mechanisms with a view to contributing financially to the efforts of developing countries and countries with economies in transition to apply this Convention through technical assistance programmes and projects (art. 60, para. 7).
