This recommendation is in line with those of the Programme of Action for the Least developed countries for the 1990s, which singles out aid coordination and economic management as priority areas for LDCs and for the assistance of the donor community, in particular of UNDP and the SMF/LDC.
وتتفق هذه التوصية مع توصيات برنامج العمل لصالح أقل البلدان نموا للتسعينات، وهي تفرد تنسيق المعونة وإدارة الاقتصاد بوصفهما من مجالات اﻷولوية لصالح أقل البلدان نموا وللمساعدة التي يقدمها مجتمع المانحين، ولا سيما برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي وصندوق التدابير الخاصة لصالح أقل البلدان نموا.

In that context, while it recognized that the least developed countries had the primary responsibility for their development based on appropriate domestic policies, the Commission expressed concern about the problems of the least developed countries within the context of the Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries for the 1990s.
