In his report to the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-second session, the Special Rapporteur pointed out that it appeared indispensable that the role of the Special Rapporteur should be reviewed so as to enable him to make a more action-oriented contribution to the protection and promotion of human rights in the area.
٦٣- وفي تقريره المقدم إلى لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، أشار المقرر الخاص إلى أنه من الضروري فيما يبدو اعادة النظر في دور المقرر الخاص بغية تمكينه من المساهمة مساهمة عملية بدرجة أكبر في حماية وتعزيز حقوق اﻹنسان في المنطقة.

11. Also encourages Governments to consider inviting the Working Group to their countries so as to enable the Group to discharge its protection mandate even more effectively and to make concrete recommendations concerning the promotion of human rights, in the spirit of the advisory or technical assistance services;
١١- تشجع أيضا الحكومات على النظر في دعوة الفريق العامل الى زيادة بلدانها بغية تمكينه من الاضطلاع بمهمته المتعلقة بالحماية بمزيد من الفعالية، وبغية تمكينه أيضا من وضع توصيات محددة بشأن تعزيز حقوق الانسان، بالروح التي تقدﱠم بها الخدمات الاستشارية أو خدمات المساعدة التقنية؛

7. Regrets that the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has still not permitted the Special Representative to visit the country in order to enable him fully to discharge his mandate by according him full cooperation;
٧- تأسف ﻷن حكومة جمهورية ايران الاسلامية لم تسمح بعد للممثل الخاص بزيارة البلد بغية تمكينه من النهوض بكامل الولاية المسندة إليه وبمنحه تعاونا تاما؛

14. Urges all Governments to cooperate fully with the Special Rapporteur with a view to enabling him to fulfil his mandate;
٤١- تحث جميع الحكومات على أن تتعاون تعاوا كاملا مع المقرر الخاص بغية تمكينه من الوفاء بولايته؛

In order to be able to carry out all those new activities, the Centre must be provided with additional resources.
ويتعين تزويد المركز بموارد اضافية بغية تمكينه من الاضطلاع بجميع هذه اﻷنشطة الجديدة.

34. The Secretary-General states that the present staffing of the Office of Staff Legal Assistance must be strengthened in order for it to fulfil its mandate.
