In reply, some delegations noted explanations by the representative of the Secretariat that that aspect of the problem had, in fact, been included in the United Nations system-wide activities on the subject, and would be adequately reflected in the report to the Economic and Social Council.

٢١ ـ تدعو إلى تكثيف الجهود على المستوى الدولي من أجل دمج موضوع المساواة في المركز للمرأة وحقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة في صلب اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها على نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، ومعالجة هذه المسائل بصورة منتظمة ومنهجية في كافة هيئات وآليات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة ؛

21. As the United Nations official with principal responsibility for United Nations human rights activities, the High Commissioner attaches special importance to the coordination of United Nations system-wide activities.
٢١ - يعلق المفوض السامي، بوصفه مسؤول اﻷمم المتحدة الذي يتحمل المسؤولية اﻷساسية عن أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال حقوق اﻹنسان، أهمية خاصة على تنسيق اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها على نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

The World Conference urged the full and equal enjoyment by women of all human rights as a priority objective for both Member States and the United Nations, and that the human rights of women be fully integrated into the mainstream of United Nations system-wide activities.
وحث المؤتمر العالمي على تمتع المرأة بصورة كاملة وعلى قدم المساواة بجميع حقوق اﻹنسان بوصف ذلك هدفا ذا أولوية بالنسبة للدول اﻷعضاء ولﻷمم المتحدة على السواء، كما حث على ادماج حقوق الانسان للمرأة ادماجا كاملا في الخط العام لﻷنشطة التي يجري القيام بها على نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

The Department will also produce and disseminate an extended background on the issues related to poverty eradication and a brochure on the aims and purposes of the Year which will include a calendar of United Nations system-wide activities being planned during the Year.

37. The equal status of women and the human rights of women should be integrated into the mainstream of United Nations system-wide activity.
٣٧ - وينبغي دمج موضوع المساواة في المركز للمرأة وحقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة في صلب اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها على نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

1. Calls for intensified effort at the international level to integrate the equal status and human rights of women into the mainstream of United Nations system-wide activity and to address these issues regularly and systematically throughout relevant United Nations bodies and mechanisms;
١- تدعو إلى تكثيف الجهود على المستوى الدولي من أجل دمج موضوع المساواة في المركز وحقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة في صلب اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها على نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ومعالجة هذه المسائل بصورة منتظمة ومنهجية في كافة هيئات وآليات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة؛

Bearing in mind that the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action calls for action to integrate the equal status and human rights of women into the mainstream of United Nations system-wide activity, stresses the importance of working towards the elimination of violence against women in public and private life and urges the eradication of all forms of discrimination against women,

5. Requests the Secretary-General, in his capacity as Chairman of the Administrative Committee on Coordination, to seek to ensure the reinforcement and further development of the integration of the human rights of women into the mainstream of United Nations system-wide activity, following the framework set out at the Fourth World Conference on Women;
٥- ترجو من اﻷمين العام أن يسعى، بصفته رئيسا للجنة التنسيق اﻹدارية، إلى ضمان تعزيز ومواصلة تطوير عملية دمج حقوق اﻹنسان الخاصة بالمرأة في صلب اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها على نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، وفقاً لﻹطار الذي حدده المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة؛
