Mr. Tourgeman (Israel) said that he shared the view of the representative of Swaziland that, essentially, the Committee was dealing with a humanitarian problem, although at the same time it was a political issue. Israel’s objections to the draft resolutions arose from the reference in them to the right of Palestine refugees to return to Israel.

17. On 10 March 1993, the Committee received, through its Secretary, an application from Mr. Tarjouman requesting a review of Judgement No. 579 rendered by the United Nations Administrative Tribunal on 18 November 1992 in the case of Tarjouman against the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
١٧ - وفي ١٠ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٣، تلقت اللجنة بواسطة أمينها طلبا من السيد ترجمان يطلب فيه مراجعة الحكم ٥٧٩ الذي أصدرته المحكمة اﻹدارية لﻷمم المتحدة يوم ١٨ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٢ في قضية ترجمان ضد اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة.

25. In accordance with article VIII, paragraph 4, of the rules of procedure of the Committee, the decisions of the Committee with regard to the applications of Mr. Megzari, Ms. Noble, Ms. Kaouakib, Mr. Tarjouman and Ms. Burtis were formally announced by the Chairman at the meeting of the Committee held in public on 16 July 1993.
٢٥ - وفقا للفقرة ٤ من المادة الثامنة من النظام الداخلي للجنة، أعلن الرئيس رسميا قرارات اللجنة في طلبات السيد مجزري والسيدة نوبل والسيدة كواكب والسيد ترجمان والسيدة بورتيس خلال جلسة اللجنة العلنية التي عقدت يوم ١٦ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٣.

55. Mr. Tourgeman (Israel) said that the adoption of extremist and one-sided resolutions had no influence on the real state of affairs. Those resolutions did not help to create the peaceful and constructive climate which was so necessary for the conduct of negotiations.
٥٥ - السيد ترجمان )إسرائيل(: قال إن اعتماد قرارات متطرفة متحيزة لجانب واحد لن يكون لها أي تأثير على اﻷوضاع الحقيقية: فتلك القرارات لم تساعد على خلق مناخ سلمي وبناء الذي لا بد من وجوده ﻹجراء المفاوضات.
