Under the approved special arrangements, appropriations required in respect of obligations owed to Governments providing contingents and/or logistic support to UNTAG shall be retained beyond the period stipulated under financial regulations 4.3 and 4.4, as follows:
٣٣ - وفي إطار الترتيبات الخاصة المعتمدة، يحتفظ بالاعتمادات اللازمة لتسديد الالتزامات المستحقة للحكومات التي تقدم وحدات و/أو التي تقدم الدعم السوقي لفريق اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في فترة الانتقال الى ما بعد الفترة المنصوص عليها في البندين ٤-٣ و ٤-٤ من النظام المالي، على النحو التالي:

40. Requests the Secretary-General to include, in the agreements to be concluded with States providing contingents, a clause by which those States would ensure that the members of their contingents serving in United Nations peace-keeping operations are fully acquainted with the principles and rules of relevant international law, in particular international humanitarian law and the purposes and principles of the Charter;
٤٠ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يدرج في الاتفاقات التي تبرم مع الدول التي تقدم وحدات بندا تكفل بموجبه هذه الدول أن يكون أفراد وحداتها التي تخدم في عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلم على دراية كاملة بمبادئ وقواعد القانون الدولي ذي الصلة، ولا سيما القانون الدولي اﻹنساني ومقاصد الميثاق ومبادئه؛

(c) The approval for UNFICYP, on an exceptional basis, of special arrangements with regard to the application of article IV of the Financial Regulations of the United Nations, whereby appropriations required in respect of obligations owed to Governments providing contingents and/or logistic support to UNFICYP shall be retained beyond the period stipulated under financial regulations 4.3 and 4.4.

(هـ) تنسيــــق الـــــزيارات الاستطلاعية للبلدان المساهمة بقوات التي تقدم وحدات عسكرية لعمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام، وقيادة الزيارات السابقة للنشر المتوجهة إلى البلدان المساهمة بقوات للتحقق من مدى استعداد الدول الأعضاء للتقيد بالشروط الواردة في مذكرات التفاهم الخاصة بعمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام وفي الاتفاقات المتعلقة بالمعدات المملوكة للوحدات

(e) Coordinating reconnaissance visits for troop-contributing countries providing contingents to United Nations peacekeeping operations and leading predeployment visits to troop-contributing countries to verify the preparedness of Member States to meet the conditions of United Nations peacekeeping operations, memorandums of understanding and contingent-owned equipment agreements;
