20. notes with appreciation the efforts of the Department of Public Information to take advantage of recent developments in information technology in order to improve the dissemination of information on the United Nations, and encourages the Department to continue its efforts in this field;
٢٠ - تلاحظ مع التقدير الجهود التي تبذلها إدارة شؤون الاعلام للاستفادة من التطورات الحديثة في مجال تكنولوجيا الاعلام بغية تحسين نشر المعلومات عن اﻷمم المتحدة، وتشجع اﻹدارة على مواصلة جهودها في هذا الميدان؛

7. notes with appreciation the efforts of the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme to ensure that as many meetings as possible related to the United Nations Environment Programme are held at the headquarters of the Programme so as to maximize utilization of conference facilities and services;

15. notes with appreciation the efforts of the Department of Public Information to publicize the work and decisions of the General Assembly, encourages the Department to further strengthen its working relationship with the Office of the President of the General Assembly, and requests the Secretary-General to report thereon to the Committee on Information at its twenty-eighth session;
