The present report responds to that request and sets out a comprehensive proposal and recommendations for consideration by the General Assembly at its sixty-fourth session.

Requests the Secretary-General to provide appropriate background information to be considered by the General Assembly at its forty-eighth session.
تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام تقديم المعلومات اﻷساسية المناسبة لكي تنظر فيها الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة واﻷربعين.

The Assembly also requested the Secretary-General to submit the administrative liquidation budget for the mission for consideration by the Assembly at the main part of its sixty-fourth session.

Those requirements have not been included in the proposals contained in the proposed programme budget for the biennium 20082009 to be considered by the General Assembly at its sixtysecond session.
٣- ولم تُدرج تلك الاحتياجات في المقترحات الواردة في الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة لفترة السنتين 2008-2009، المقرر أن تنظر فيها الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والستين.

The Secretariat has completed preliminary findings and will provide resource requirements for the upgrading of the Secretariat-wide information and communications technology system along with a timetable for consideration by the Assembly at its second resumed sixty-first session.

It also provides information on the outcome of the 2014 high-level review by the Commission on Narcotic Drugs of the implementation of the Political Declaration and Plan of Action and contains recommendations for consideration by the Assembly in preparing for the special session of the General Assembly on the world drug problem to be held in 2016.
