This decision was taken by the General Assembly following a recommendation by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in its first report on the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2012-2013 (A/66/7 and Corr.1), upon its review of section 32 (Jointly financed activities) of the proposed programme budget.

It will be recalled that for the programme budget for the biennium 2000-2001, the General Assembly decided, on the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, that provisions for new posts at the Professional level and above should be costed at 50 per cent.

On the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, the General Assembly, in its resolution 64/264 of 13 May 2010, authorized the Secretary-General to enter into commitments in an amount not exceeding $120,641,800 for the operation of the Mission for the 2009/10 period.

66. Based on a recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, the General Assembly approved, in its resolution 47/213 of 23 December 1992, a resource level for the budget outline for the biennium 1994-1995 of $2,386,400,000, calculated at initial appropriation rates, which represented a decrease of $19.6 million, or 1.0 per cent, compared to the anticipated revised appropriation for 1992-1993.

The General Assembly, in approving the programme budget for the biennium 2000-2001 in its resolution 54/249 of 23 December 1999, has endorsed a recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions that, in the context of the proposed programme budget, detailed information be submitted on all safety and security programmes undertaken by the United Nations system.
3 - وأيدت الجمعية العامة، عند إقرارها للميزانية البرنامجية لفترة السنتين 2000-2001، بقرارها 54/249 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1999، توصية من اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية بتقديم معلومات مفصلة إليها في إطار الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة، عن جميع برامج السلامة والأمن التي تضطلع بها منظومة الأمم المتحدة حاليا.

22. In April 1991, on the basis of the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, the custodial responsibility for the Endowment Fund was transferred from the United Nations Controller to the Representative of the Secretary-General for the Investments of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, who in turn delegated his trustee responsibility to the Investment Management Division of the Pension Fund.

On the basis of the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in paragraph 40 of its report on the financing of UNMIL dated 15 May 2008 (A/62/781/Add.10), the General Assembly, by its resolution 62/263 of 20 June 2008, appropriated the amount of $603,708,000 gross ($592,066,700 net) for the maintenance of the Mission for the period from 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009.

9. In its resolution 55/180 of 19 December 2000, the General Assembly, acting on the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions contained in its report on UNIFIL (A/55/516), appropriated an additional amount of $86,758,400 gross ($86,301,300 net) for the provisional expansion of the Force for the financial period 2000-2001.
9 - وقد خصصت الجمعية العامة، بموجب قرارها 55/180 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، بناء على توصية من اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية وردت في تقريرها عن القوة (A/55/516)، مبلغا إضافيا إجماليه 400 758 86 دولار (صافيه 300 301 86 دولار) من أجــــل التوسع المؤقت للقوة عن الفترة المالية 2000-2001.

Subsequently, the Fifth Committee approved a recommendation by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, which enabled the Commission to finance its field missions to the three countries under consideration between April and June 2008 (General Assembly resolution 62/245).
