61- وذكرت منظمة المبادرات الكندية الكنسية من أجل العدالة أن كندا تفرض قيوداً عديدة على جمع شمل أسر اللاجئين والمهاجرين، إذ يُجبر اللاجئون أحياناً على الانتظار لسنوات قبل أن يجمع شملهم بزوجاتهم وأطفالهم الذين كثيراً ما يعيشون في أوضاع تعرضهم للخطر والاضطهاد(120).

It is an important tool for protection against forcible recruitment, protection of access to basic rights, family reunification of refugees and identification of those in need of special assistance, and to implement appropriate durable solutions.6 The Agenda for Protection specifically recommends the use of registration data to identify and make specific assistance and protection arrangements for unaccompanied and separated children.
